Our January Lecture is:
West Cork Railways, Birth, Beauty and Betrayal
by Chris Larkin.

The talk is based on Chris Larkin’s recently published book on the same subject and will be fully illustrated with unique photographs from the speaker’s collection of posters, tickets, advertisements etc.
Chris Larkin was born near Chetwynd Viaduct, Togher, Cork and has been an avid collector of railway material since he was nine. He worked in transport and is a long-time member of the Irish Railway Record Society. He is well known as a transport and military historian as well as being an artist, photographer and poet.

This lecture take place in the O’Donovan Rossa GAA Pavilion, Skibbereen on Wednesday 25 January 2023 @ 8pm.
