Our November Lecture is:
The life of Kate McCarty (Sr Marie Laurence) from Drominidy North, Drimoleague
by Catherine Fleming.

Sr Marie Laurence spent much of her working life in France. During World War II she aiding Allied troops escaping from Nazi-occupied France. As a result, she was arrested by the Gestapo and subsequently imprisoned in the notorious Ravensbrück Concentration Camp. After the war, she was honoured by both the French and the British governments. This talk by Catherine Fleming will examine her life and work.

This lecture take place in the O’Donovan Rossa GAA Pavilion, Skibbereen on Thursday 24 November 2022 @ 8pm.
